How BestUSAVPS earns money
BestUSAVPS is free to read and carries no advertising. It earns a commission when a reader buys from a provider through one of the site's affiliate links. The provider pays the commission; the reader pays the provider's normal price.
Which links are affiliate links
As of September 2026, the site has six affiliate relationships, one direct and five through the Mitgo affiliate network. InterServer (direct): links to InterServer's order pages that carry that relationship are marked with rel="sponsored", appear as buttons labelled "See current InterServer plans" or "Visit InterServer", and have a one-line disclosure next to the first such button on each page. Turbo VPN (through the Mitgo affiliate network): one button labelled "See Turbo VPN plans" on the VPN page, marked rel="sponsored", with a disclosure line beneath it; the link goes through a tracking domain (grfpr.com) before reaching turbovpn.com. is*hosting (Mitgo): one link labelled "See is*hosting US plans" in the US datacenter guide, marked rel="sponsored" with a disclosure line beneath it, through the tracking domain xcdus.com. Godlike.Host (Mitgo): a button labelled "See Godlike.Host Minecraft plans" on the Minecraft VPS page that goes through /go/godlike-deals/ (subid buvps-deals), an Admitad 600x90 banner on the deals page that goes through /go/godlike-deals/ (subid buvps-deals), and top/bottom CTAs on the Godlike.Host review through /go/godlike-review/ (subid buvps-review); all marked rel="sponsored" with a disclosure line on the card; tracking domain yjfca.com. NordPass (Mitgo): one image banner in the VPS security hardening guide, marked rel="sponsored" with a disclosure line beneath it, through the tracking domain rkdro.com; the banner image is served by ad.admitad.com. Fiverr (Mitgo): one button labelled "Browse WordPress freelancers on Fiverr" in the WordPress on VPS guide, marked rel="sponsored" with a disclosure line beneath it, through the tracking domain twnfz.com.
Every other provider link on the site, including links to Vultr, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Contabo, OVHcloud, Hostwinds, Linode, RackNerd, Hostinger and the rest, is a plain link with no tracking and no commission. Links to turbovpn.com, ishosting.com, godlike.host, nordpass.com and fiverr.com pages cited as sources are plain links. Links to a provider's own price pages, documentation and FAQs, which are what the Sources sections cite, are always plain links, including for InterServer. If this changes, this page and the pages concerned will be updated on the same day.
What the relationship does not change
- Prices and plan details. Every number on a revised page is read from the provider's own page or public API on the date shown in that page's Sources section, and the same method is used for providers with and without an affiliate relationship.
- Ranking rules. Comparison pages state their ranking rule before the data is collected (cheapest at a given size in a US location, transfer per dollar, and so on). A provider is placed first only on pages whose rule it wins; InterServer is not placed first on pages about hourly billing, APIs, European locations, large servers or benchmarks, because it does not win those. Turbo VPN, Godlike.Host, NordPass and Fiverr are not ranked against VPS providers at all; each appears in a section about a related product or service (a VPN service, a managed Minecraft host, a password manager, a freelance marketplace), with its features and figures quoted from its own site. is*hosting appears in the datacenter guide's location lists and coverage matrix on the same footing as providers without a commercial relationship.
- What gets said about a provider. The InterServer review lists the plan's published limits (no refund, no hourly billing, no snapshots advertised, shared port) in the same way other reviews list theirs.
What the relationship does change is which provider's button appears on a page, and only on pages where that provider wins the page's rule. The about page describes how the site works in more detail.
How to recognise an affiliate link
Hover over or inspect a link: affiliate links point to an InterServer URL containing a referral path, or to a Mitgo tracking domain (grfpr.com for Turbo VPN, xcdus.com for is*hosting, yjfca.com for Godlike.Host, rkdro.com for NordPass, twnfz.com for Fiverr), and carry rel="sponsored noopener". Plain links carry rel="noopener" only. The footer of every page repeats the general disclosure.
